Château Bellefontaine is a 50-hectare, single-vineyard, organically farmed estate. Thanks to the moderating effect of the Mistral wind and the fact that it faces the Camargue ponds and the Mediterranean Sea, the site is located for the production of exceptional wines. The location choice was not by chance. The Château was built near an artesian spring, hence the name: Bellefontaine. The spring no longer exists, but if you approach the area in silence, you can hear the water flowing 8 meters underground.
Purchased in 2010 by the Bosse-Platière and Soulairac families, the estate underwent significant improvements both in its vineyard and buildings, while maintaining the integrity of the historic building.
Elise and Yann both hark from winemaking families that always respected the land so it was natural for them to implement farming organic practices. They work beautifully together with Yann in the vineyard and Elise in the winery.
