Biurko Gorri estate consists of 45 hectares of old vines that are organically farmed and, perched high at 600m on the slopes of Mount Yoar. Biurko is a Basque word meaning between two rivers. The Llorens family has been farming for generations and is one of the oldest certified organic producers in the region. Their vineyards stand out from neighboring operations, since birds and other wildlife can be seen there, happily flourishing. Intervention in the cellar is low, in order to purely express the character of the vines and La Rioja.
